“We purchased our new home in October 2024 and the builder was Brookfield. We live in a single-family home with a detached garage and chose to move to The Orchards because it’s such a vibrant and diverse community. As the name suggests, “Orchards” truly feels like a garden, with so much greenery, miles of walking trails, a play park, clubhouse, and spray park—the reasons are countless. What we enjoy most are the play park, spray park, and rink, and our favorite amenity has to be the tool rental facility, which is so helpful, along with the celebration of multicultural events like Diwali and Christmas. The biggest factor in our decision to move here was the vibrant, diverse community and its accessibility to major areas of the city. Our favorite part of day-to-day life is using the well-connected walking trails, which are perfect for bike rides and make it easy to quickly visit friends.”

“We have lived in Orchards since January 2014. They were awesome to work with. Our house was prefabbed in a warehouse and it was like magic watching them put it all together on the foundation in one day. We have a detached home with an oversize garage. We have watched our community grow and blossom over the past 11 years. The trees are so beautiful and it's wonderful to see how much they've grown. We love all the sidewalk trails and enjoy riding our bikes on them. The Orchards Clubhouse is always a fun place to go. We've used the Clubhouse room for a celebration and we love taking our great grandaughter to the spray park in the summer. We love this place!”

After years of saving, a significant promotion in 2023 finally allowed me to take the leap into homeownership. The Orchards area immediately stood out. When I found my townhouse, it checked all the boxes: a fenced yard, a garage, a price within my budget and newer - though I wasn't afraid of taking on a fixer upper. Soon after moving in, I got my first ever dog, eager to explore the community's natural elements. The Orchards offers the quiet I craved, with serene walks around the lakes and abundant adult events at the clubhouse. As an introvert, these activities have been a blessing, helping me connect with neighbors and build a fantastic group of friends who share my love for Dungeons and Dragons and other nerdy pursuits. The diverse mix of people here is truly engaging. My favorite part, however, is the summer nights when the therapeutic chorus of chirping frogs fills the air. I would recommend the area for anyone who doesn't crave the business of the Edmonton core and is looking for a place to grow with.”

"As someone who works in design, I was especially drawn to the thoughtful layout, cohesive aesthetics, and the overall sense of planning that Orchard offers. The welcoming atmosphere, quiet streets, and beautiful streetscapes create a perfect balance between suburban calm and urban convenience. My favourite features are the walking paths and green spaces, which make it easy to enjoy the outdoors and truly appreciate the neighborhood’s design. I also love spending time on the trails, at the playground, and playing tennis. The clubhouse, with its community gatherings and planned events, is something I’m especially looking forward to. Ultimately, the design, colour palette, and overall vibe of Orchard were what won us over—it just felt different, more modern, and better thought-out than any other community we explored. Without a doubt, I would recommend living here; Orchard offers great amenities, a warm and inviting feel, and a truly unique character that sets it apart."
